Moroccan Fishing Boats by Louise.
Mixed media piece painted whilst on holiday in the coastal town of Essaouira in Morocco. Essaouira is known as the ‘windy city’ due to its position on e North Atlantic coast.
I used coloured pencil, watercolour, ink and salt to achieve the patina on the wood.
There were many stunningly colourful fishing boats moored in the harbour here, many of them painted in the traditional blue.
Sold framed in a driftwood effect frame and corded on the back ready to hang.
47 cm height x 57.3 width x 1.5 cm deep.
